The Diamond Jeweller offers finance on a BUY NOW PAY LATER scheme. This is a buy now, pay within 6 months loan agreement, so there is nothing to pay and 0% interest for 6 months. This scheme requires a minimum order value of £500.00 (incl VAT).
We require a 10% deposit on a credit or debit card to action your order. We require a minimum lead time of approx 21 days from order to delivery if you select finance to purchase an item. Should you make payment in full at any point before the initial 6 month period expires, you will pay 0% interest, but pay a £29 settlement fee. Should you choose not to settle the outstanding balance in full before the initial 6 month period expires, you can simply begin to make your loan repayments on a monthly basis at the interest rate shown on the loan agreement. A working example of this is - APR 29.8% Total cash price £500.00 (incl VAT) 10% deposit £50.00 Balance to finance £450.00 Interest £281.16 Total credit amount £731.16 Total amount payable £781.16 36 monthly repayments of £20.31 Please note that at the end of any loan term, a £29 settlement fee will be applied. YOUR QUESTIONS ANSWERED - Q - IS THE DIAMOND JEWELLER OFFICIALLY ABLE TO OFFER CREDIT? A - Yes. The Diamond Jeweller is a trading name of ROK Diamonds Limited, which has a Consumer Credit Licence number under 585915. Q - IS EVERYONE ABLE TO GET FINANCE FROM THE DIAMOND JEWELLER? A - No. Credit is subject to status. To apply for finance from The Diamond Jeweller, you must satisfy all of the following criteria - - You must be over the age of 18 years, and - You must be a resident of the UK and have lived in the UK for the last 3 years, and - You must be employed for at least 16 hours per week or be retired with an income. Q - HOW DO I APPLY FOR FINANCE FROM THE DIAMOND JEWELLER? A - This is very straightforward. Simply choose the item you wish to purchase and then speak with one of our customer service team on 0845 355 1164 who will be delighted to process your application and answer any questions you might have. Q - HOW QUICKLY WILL MY APPLICATION BE PROCESSED? A - If your application is received between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday (excluding bank holidays and public holidays), then in the majority of cases our team will provide you with a decision within a matter of minutes. If you submit your application outside of these hours, then we'll endeavour to provide a response the next working day. Q - ONCE MY APPLICATION IS APPROVED, WHAT HAPPENS NEXT? A - Once approved, we will send you 2 hard copies of your agreement in the post or alternatively send them electronically by email for you to print out. All agreements are supported with a copy of our terms and conditions. Once received, you'll need to read the agreement carefully, then sign and return a copy to us, together with an original utility bill to confirm your proof of residence. Q - WHAT TYPE OF INFORMATION DO CREDIT REFERENCE AGENCIES HOLD ABOUT ME? A - Some of the information is public information - for example, electoral roll, County Court Judgements and bankruptcies. Other lenders may also file information about accounts you hold with them - for instance, this could include your payment history and outstanding balance on these accounts. Any requests for credit, when a credit reference search has been undertaken, will also be filed although the result of the request is not recorded. Q - HOW DO I OBTAIN A COPY OF THIS INFORMATION? A - You can obtain information about your own credit file and also find out more about credit decisions by visiting these credit reference company websites - www.experian.co.uk www.equifax.co.uk www.callcredit.co.uk The above listed agencies will provide details of information relating to you via these addresses. If you believe that the information is incorrect, you can ask the agency to correct it. Q - CAN I REQUEST DELIVERY TO AN ADDRESS OTHER THAN MY HOME? A - In order to safeguard against fraudulent applications, we are only able to deliver to the home address of the applicant. Saturday morning deliveries can be arranged if this is more convenient for you. Q - HOW LONG WILL I HAVE TO WAIT TO RECEIVE MY ITEM? A - If you make your purchase using finance from The Diamond Jeweller, we require a minimum of 21 days from order to delivery for your item. If you make payment by card, bank transfer or cheque, then it is usually possible to meet client's short delivery timeframes, although this is not possible with items purchased using our finance scheme. Q - IF MY APPLICATION IS NOT SUCCESSFUL, CAN I RE-APPLY? A - Yes. We acknowledge that your circumstances change and just because we have refused a previous application, it does not mean that we'll automatically turn down a further request. We do suggest, however, that you leave at least 6 months between applications. Please note that unfortunately we are unable to offer finance to residents of the Republic of Ireland. |
