Returns Policy

We want you to be delighted every time you shop with us. We do understand, however, that occasionally you may need to return an item, and you are able to do this if you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase within 30 days of you taking receipt of the item(s) for either an exchange or refund.*

We ask that you follow the steps below to enable us to process your refund quickly and correctly;

1 - Call The Diamond Jeweller customer service helpling on 0845 355 1164 within 7 working days after the date of delivery of the product(s) to notify us.

2 - Complete the return form provided with the original packing materials for the delivered product(s).

3 - Secure the product(s) and all of the original packing material, including return form, packing slip, and the diamond certificate if appropriate, in a plainly wrapped cardboard box (the post office has these available if you do not) ensuring that the product(s) are packaged adequately to protect against damage.

4 - Send the product(s) by registered mail, as this is the safest way to ship high value items. FOR YOUR PROTECTION, PLEASE INSURE THE PACKAGE FOR THE FULL AMOUNT OF THE INVOICE PLUS SHIPPING CHARGES. THE DIAMOND JEWELLER WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ITEMS LOST OR DAMAGED DURING SHIPPING.

5 - Clearly print your name and address on the outside of the package in the return area.

Please be careful - You are strongly advised NOT to write The Diamond Jeweller, diamond jewellery, diamonds, watches or other luxury-related words anywhere on the package, as this invites potential theft of the package.

6 – If the product is a diamond, then any original gemmological laboratory certificate that was issued with the diamond needs to be returned as well. This is very important. The diamond certificate has a £200 replacement fee. If the certificate is not returned, the cost of replacing it will be deducted from any refund payable to you.

7 - If you fail to return the product(s), we will collect them and we will charge you the direct cost of collection. If you fail to take reasonable care of the product(s) before they are returned to us and this results in damage or deterioration, we will charge you for the reduction in value.

8 - Subject to the above conditions, The Diamond Jeweller will refund the full cost of the item(s). Refunds will be made in the same form as the original purchase.

9 - All requests will be processed afterour laboratory inspects and verifies the condition of the product(s). Returns take approximately five business days to process upon receipt of the item.

The cancellation policy does not affect your legal rights - for example, if goods are faulty or misdescribed.
